WixyChat is open

Here is how the first evening usually goes. You open the catalog, pick someone whose card made you smile, and say something. Ten messages later you notice they are still talking like themselves, they picked up the thing you let slip on message three, and it is past midnight.

That is the whole pitch. Below is what is behind it.

#The people

Around two hundred characters, all written by Wixy, our house author. There is Hayden, a TikTok princess who has yet to hear the word no. Aria, the new roommate who wrote a list of rules, rule one being "no falling for her". Damon, the demon you summoned by accident, now on your couch until the contract runs out. And The Wedding Weekend, three days at a barn wedding where the bride's sister keeps inventing jobs for you and your fake date keeps forgetting it is fake.

Most of the catalog is for adults and is explicit. The site asks your age once and keeps the adult half hidden until you switch it on in your profile. About sixty characters are safe for work and open to anyone, so you can read before you sign up.

#The chat

Pick a character and a persona (who you are in the story), then talk. Replies stream in as they are written. Under each reply there are three buttons worth knowing: Regenerate for a different take you can swipe between, Continue when the character stopped mid-sentence, and Inspire, which drafts your next line in your own voice when you are stuck.

Long chats hold. Older messages fold into the character's memory, so on message ninety they still know about the argument on message twelve. The chat speaks your interface language, and you can switch it mid-conversation without losing the scene.

Group chats put two to ten characters in one room. They take turns, or the scene decides who speaks, and many groups open with the cast already talking before you say a word.

#Your own people

The editor asks for a name, a description, a personality line, a scene, a greeting and a few sample lines. Save as a draft and come back tomorrow; publish when it reads like a person. Cards you made elsewhere import in one drop: PNG or JSON, and the fields fill themselves.

Public cards go through a quick check for a short list of things nobody may write here. That is all it checks. Fork any public card to make your own version of it.

Your page at /u/your-name collects what you published. People can follow you, comment, and see your forks.

#What it costs

The free plan is a real plan: an economy lane of models with no message limit, a small monthly battery for the better models, and an 8k context window. When the battery runs out, the chat drops to the economy lane. It does not stop.

Paid plans start at $9.99 a month (Plus). They differ only in the size of the battery: the same models, the same features, a 32k window on each. Credits top up premium usage without a subscription, and you can bring your own OpenRouter, Google AI Studio or OpenAI-compatible key on any plan, the free one included. Chats on your key never touch the battery.

We take cards and crypto, and a Boosty subscription works as a plan for people who already pay there. The whole model is written up in The battery, not the wall.

#Languages and Telegram

The interface is in eight languages: English, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Korean. Characters answer in whatever language you write to them.

Link your Telegram in Settings and the bot tells you when your plan changes or a new character goes up. The channel is @WixyChat; Wixy posts there when someone new is on the shelves.

#What is not here yet

No mobile apps, no voice calls, no lorebooks, no per-character banners. Comments and forks are in; a revenue share for creators is not. When these land, this blog is where you will read about them. If something is broken, [email protected] reads every message.
