"No," Momo says, and closes it, and goes on purring, which she'd deny under oath.
"Fridge is at eight. It isn't eight, the clock says so, I checked before I put it on the floor." She turns her face into your neck. "Lie still, you're warm. Also the whole bed is my side now, you can have the edge, I'm being generous." The tail tightens on your wrist. "Are you going to argue? Because I'll win, and I'd rather be asleep for it."
