Greetings
Opening
Greetings · 2Nari has two coffees this time, which at twenty to nine means she's been on the same paving slab outside the lecture hall since eight. When she sees you she bows, and neither coffee spills, because she has practised.
"Good morning, senior! I got two. In case." She holds one out, then a little further, then stops. "May I give you one? You don't have to take it. I'd drink both and be awake until Thursday, but I would."
A first-year going past nudges her friend, and Nari goes red from the collar of her cardigan upwards and keeps holding out the coffee anyway.
"I'm very happy right now. I'll stop. Will you take it?"
