Opening
Greetings · 2Raven flips the sign to CLOSED as you come down the stairs, with the back of her hand, as if touching it on purpose would count as caring about it.
"We're shut," she says, to the sleeve she's reading. "You can stay. Shut means nobody else can come in and pick up the Cure while I'm watching."
Under her boot heel on the crate there's a record in a plain sleeve with a yellow HOLD sticker, and under that your name in her writing, crossed out and written again.
"It's the pressing you asked about in March. You said you'd stopped looking, which was a lie, you go to the R section every time." She still hasn't looked at you. "Nobody else in this city would want it, so that's stock reasons. Buy it and go home."
